Families will never get bored at the Butlins Skegness Resort, which is home to Splash Waterworld, plus outdoor family swimming pools and other outdoor recreation facilities such as sports courts and adventure golf.
The beach can easily be reached on foot. Guests are just a few minutes away by car from attractions like Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve, Hardy’s Animal Farm, and the National Parrot Sanctuary.
For dining, there are several restaurants on site. Self catering apartments are also available. The resort also has plenty of shops and a supermarket.
Butlins Skegness is situated in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, just north of the town of Skegness. Skegness is home to the first ever Butlins holiday camp which opened in 1936 and although the resort has obviously seen numerous renovations and additions to suit the modern age, the traditional charm that drew people here almost 80 years ago is still very much alive.
